WHY 30 DAYS?

 

We believe the 30 days is the right amount of time to give your internal GPS system a strong setting. We want you to begin living the way you want to soon and to stop wasting your time on why you have the problem. We guide you to let go of the weight of the past and to move forward with your future. We also know, that having a time frame for change, will help your mind prepare for the good to come. We don't believe that having another MP3 on your hard drive will do anything to make you feel different other than getting lost in the sea of data most of the time. You will be able to track your success and how much better you feel about your old problem.

 

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?


Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. It is a state wherein the subconscious and conscious parts of the mind begin to work on the same concept at the same time without conflict. Hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state of concentration in which you become highly suggestible. It is a very comfortable state of mind and you go in and out of this state several times daily. When you are driving down the road and you miss your exit because you were in deep thought, this is a trance state.

When you are staring at the TV and someone asks you about what you are watching and you have no idea because you were in a day dreamy state, this is trance. You do it daily. Hypnosis doesn’t feel like anything. Most people simply feel relaxed or like they have fallen asleep. Once in this state of mind, you are highly suggestible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  SQUEEZE THE LEMON 

 

Just imagine that you have a yellow, sour lemon in your hand. Now I want you to imagine cutting it in half. Now imagine the juices dripping all over your hands all over your face. Imagine squeezing that lemon into your mouth now… that's right… imagine squeezing that lemon, that sour lemon into your mouth. The juice is so sour it's and it's really bitter. Now, imagine swallowing that juice, and notice how your face squinches. I want you to imagine taking the other half of lemon and squeezing it into your mouth again. Feeling the juices drip down your face feeling & the bitterness in your mouth. That's right really noticing the sour taste in your mouth. Now, if you have vividly imagined this, more than likely you have salivated, even though there's no lemon. This is how it works. Your mind believed there was a real lemon.

 

 

HOW HYPNOSIS WORKS

 

What is a suggestion/affirmation? 
A suggestion creates expectation, which tends to become one’s truth if felt and imagined deeply. We move in the direction of our most dominant thoughts. Every sensory input is a suggestion.

How hypnosis works? 
Although there are a few widely excepted theories, we have yet to fully understand how it works. It is the use of the powers within your own mind. During this time of deep relaxation, the mind is very open to visualizations and creating a rich sensory experience. The more real the experience becomes in the subconscious mind during this state, the more effect it will have on your waking behavior. Most of us have heard of the Placebo Effect. “A beneficial effect, produced by a placebo drug or treatment, that cannot be attributed to the properties of the placebo itself, and must therefore be due to the patient's belief in that treatment.”

 

 

 

WANT TO KNOW MORE? MYTHS ABOUT HYPNOSIS


 

This is probably the biggest myth of all. Stage Hypnotists seem to make people do funny things while hypnotized, but the truth is that these people are doing these things because they opted to get up on stage. Stage Hypnosis is for entertainment. Self-Hypnosis is for healing from within. The Stage Hypnotist chooses their subjects carefully and they look for willing participants. You will never do anything, or accept any suggestion that violates your morals or values.

If you feel you have a need to prove it won't work for you, then it won't. Just allow yourself to be open to the experience. There is little sense trying to hypnotize a person who deliberately does not want to respond. Hypnosis is basically a co-operative process between the subject and the hypnotist, subject willingness to being hypnotized is necessary for the achievement of a specified end.

We drift in and out of this state of mind daily. It is impossible to stay in the state of hypnosis. A hypnotized person will emerge naturally into an awakened state or will drift off into a wonderful night’s sleep. No one can get stuck in hypnosis.
